Data Tidewater Chapter collects is used only to help the chapter better serve its members and customers. It is our policy to collect and store only personal information that is knowingly provided. From General Users

Tidewater Chapter does not collect any personal information from anonymous users browsing its website other than the public IP address. Though we collect IP address information we do not link an IP addresses to a user’s personal information. Only aggregate data, such as the number of hits per page, are used. Aggregate data are only used for internal and marketing analytics purposes and do not provide any personally identifying information.

From Tidewater Chapter Members, Conference Registrants, and Other Customers

To gain access to members-only resources and personalization features on the Tidewater Chapter website, members are asked to use their username and password. Tidewater Chapter asks other users to provide their name, organization name, business phone, and e-mail. Credit card information is collected from an individual when registering for an educational course, or event, or purchasing other goods or services. This data is submitted voluntarily. Tidewater Chapter uses email addresses to market event and media related content we distribute. We currently use phone numbers only when no response is received to an email inqury, phone has been selected by a user as the preferred communication channel, or additional follow-up is required for customer support that is best addressed over the phone.

We are committed to protecting the security of information.
